This delightful drawing, clearly influenced by the work of Jean Cocteau, a French poet-turned-filmmaker/artist, comes from Og and Other Ogres by Reginald Reynolds (George Allen & Unwin, 1946; first edition with occasional black and white drawings by Quentin Crisp and a preface by Laurence Housman).

We've included a few more of his work here.

Another one of his drawings elsewhere on this site has been slightly modified for use as the header for Quentin's bibliography. This was a drawing he did for his mother.
